  Black Box Various Artists WITHOUT KIM THURSTON MOORE / LEE RANALDO / STEVE SHELLEY / MATS GUSTAFSSON 1. Without Kim I 2. Without Kim II Notes: Black Box featured CD with Mats Gustafsson and his friends from Sonic Youth. Recorded in New York, April 1999. The first track "Without Kim I" is 44:26 minutes and track 2 "Without Kim II" is 17:35 minutes long.  LIGHTNIN' 7" SONIC YOUTH Lightnin' Notes: Black Box featured 7". Lightnin' recorded live in Kongsberg, Norway, June 2000. One half of the song is on side A and the other half on side B. Notes: In October 2000, Sonic Youth members played a week of shows (two Sonic Youth sets and various performances with other artists) at a festival in Ystad, Sweden. In result of the festival, a box set called "Black Box" was released and produced by the project Kulturburo 2000, Ystad, Sweden. "Containing works of art by CF Reutersward (print), Mats Gustafsson (object), Lotta Melin (object), Kim Gordon (print), Thurston Moore (zine), SA Johansson (prints), Lee Ranaldo (photo), Loren MazzaCane Connors (book), Frauke Exchhardt (print) and others PLUS a limited edition 3 CD set featuring Zeitblom, Jim O'Rourke, Sonic Youth and others." The box includes some Sonic Youth content; a disc with 2 pieces, titled "Without Kim", and a 7" featuring Lightnin' live.
